Ingredients : Black Tea, Lakadong Haldi (Turmeric), Cardamom, Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, Cumin, Ashwagandha, Carom Seeds (Ajwain) and Aniseed.
How to brew : Boil the water and switch off the flame. Take a teaspoon of the tea leaves in a cup. Pour the hot water on the tea leaves. Let it brew for 2 minutes. Strain it. Milk and jaggery can also be added to the tea. The tea leaves can be rebrewed to make another cup of tea. Allow additional 30 seconds brewing for every reuse.
Lakadong Haldi (Turmeric) is a variety of turmeric grown in the North Eastern state of Meghalaya. This turmeric is found to have the highest percentage of curcumin. The impressive anti-inflammatory and healing health benefits of turmeric are due to the presence of a naturally-occurring chemical compound found in turmeric called curcumin. Therefore, Lakadong Haldi offers better health benefits as compared to the regular turmeric.
